The place was clean and staff was lovely and kind. The breakfast was satisfactory with artificial scrambled eggs and fresh pressed orange juice, for instance and the restaurant food was appetising! Our location was pleasant on the > 2 km long south pier.

Bulk standard basic 3* hotel in dune/marina location 20 miles from Amsterdam. Direct bus route to central Amsterdam (no 82) is handy or use the hydrofoil from Ijmuiden. Discounted price of €65 was reasonable.
Breakfast is prohibitively expensive as is a charge for the compulsory car park. The normal room rate of €100+ is poor value. In the summer a funfare arrives outside which can make for sleepless nights.

The location felt strange from beginning, but when you arrive to destinaion its really fine. Price 65€ per one night for hotel which is 20 km from Amsterdam city is excellent. Very friendly personel and nice harbor.

I liked that for the same price as a 2 star hotel in Amsterdam central we got a 4 star resort with the convenice of the fast flying ferrie which took us to the heart of Amesterdam in 25 min for 9euro return.
Would be nice not to have to pay for parking at hotel

Perfect place, well-equipped rooms, especially helpful staff. Lots of fab food. Very nice area, perfect location, close to the huge beach and the Newcastle ferry terminal.

The staff were very helpful. We caught our cruise from the dock 5 minutes away. Staff ordered us a taxi all went very smooth.

I appreciated the spacious and comfortable room with beautiful views of the marina. The lounge and dining areas were cute and well-decorated, especially for seniors like myself.
More variety in breakfast would be appreciated.
